Merle Jones, CEO
CSM(R) Merle Jones retired in September of 2000 and is very active in his community and in veterans organizations. He has been recognized on numerous occasions for these efforts, to include, Volunteer of the Year for both Habitat for Humanity and Armed Forces YMCA. He was the President for both the Pulaski County Rotary Club and the national/local boards for the Military Police Regimental Association. Merle became a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow in 2010, and was inducted into the Military Police Hall of Fame in 2011. Merle is hoping Freedom Protectors Life will give back to veterans and first responders who have given so much for our communities and our country.
Andrew Murphy is a well respected expert when it comes to VA benefits as he worked for the Department of Veteran Affairs for over 15 years. Starting out as a patient advocate in the VA Medical Centers he gained prestige medical terminology and a strong wealth of patient care processes. He also spent over a year detailed as the seriously injured coordinator for the Veteran’s residing in the state of Missouri. He had over nine years serving on the rating board adjudicating Veteran’s claims for disability benefits. Although he’s now focused exclusively on consulting, his VA career has given him a broad range of experience.
Andrew is engaged in an effort of helping out all Veterans, allowing his professionalism to truly “protect those that have protected him.” He lives in Missouri with his wife Kate and their two children.
Eric Goser retired from the United States Army after 23 years of Distinguishable Service. Eric is licensed in Life Insurance in order to meet the unique requirements of each client.
Coupling his value-based experience with the desire for educating and assisting others is what drives his passion for success. Integrity and Honesty are the foundation on which he builds his relationships.
Eric spends his time serving a congregation as Church Council President at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Rolla where he lives with his wonderful wife Sarah. It is in Rolla that they have created a home in which they share their love and responsibility of raising five children to be productive young citizens in their community.
Bryan is a graduate of Jefferson College and Southeast Missouri State University. Bryan holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and an associate degree in Computer Science.
Bryan has 23 years of experience in the Investment and Life Insurance business. He has earned numerous National Awards from the companies he represents. Bryan has several family members in the military which include a sister and brother-in-law in the Air National Guard as well as other family that have served in the Army and Marines.
Bryan organizes an Annual Golf Tournament that supports Special Olympics. He is also a supporter of many local charities and churches in his community.
Bryan and his wife Stephanie have five children and live in Festus, Missouri. They are both extremely involved in school, community, and raising their children.
Bryan’s goal in life is to “serve and support others”.
Maria is a licensed FPL representative who is passionate about taking care of people and has an extensive background working with complex laws and regulations. Her professional career includes over 20 years of Human Resources experience with the U.S. Army (SGM), and more than 2 years of experience as a Claims Representative with the Social Security Administration.
Maria has a Master's of Art degree in Education, a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, and she is an Alpha Chi National College Honor Society Member. She's also a 2003 U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy graduate.
Maria loves making a positive influence on young lives and is a licensed teacher in the state of Missouri. She is also passionate about veterans, and volunteers for The Disabled Veteran's and Caregivers Program sponsored by the VA at Jefferson Barracks. Maria is the proud mother of two boys. Her eldest son is serving in the U.S. Army and her youngest son is a 17 year old high school junior.
